Kick It 3v3 Soccer is continuing its expansion across North Carolina with another coastal event in Swansboro, reinforcing its growing presence in the state while creating additional opportunities for players to connect to the organization’s National Championships in Vail, Colorado later this summer. As part of the Kick It 3v3 World Tour, the Swansboro tournament reflects the organization’s broader strategy of building regional event networks that make competitive soccer more accessible to players and families across key communities.
The Swansboro tournament builds upon Kick It 3v3 Soccer’s momentum in North Carolina, where the organization has continued expanding through multiple events and long-term community partnerships. By establishing a stronger presence across the state, Kick It aims to provide players with greater access to small-sided soccer while supporting local communities through high-quality venues and consistent tournament opportunities.

“We’re excited to continue building in North Carolina with multiple events and strong local partnerships,” said Dan Stratford, CEO and Owner of Kick It 3v3 Soccer. “Swansboro is a great location, and this event is another step toward creating a consistent presence across the state while giving players access to our National Championships.”
Scheduled to take place in Swansboro, North Carolina, in June 2026, the event is designed to bring together local players as well as teams traveling from surrounding areas for a full day of soccer competition and community engagement. The coastal setting offers an additional destination for participants while continuing Kick It 3v3 Soccer’s mission of creating accessible events that emphasize player involvement and skill development.
Each Kick It 3v3 Soccer event is centered around a fast-paced 3v3 tournament format designed to maximize touches on the ball, player participation, and game involvement. Teams participating in Swansboro will be guaranteed four games, creating multiple opportunities for players to compete throughout the day. In addition to the main tournament, participants will also have access to additional competitions, including 1v1 challenges and 2v2 soccer tennis, helping create a festival-style atmosphere for players and families.
The tournament is open to participants of all ages and skill levels, with divisions ranging from U6 through U19 for youth players, as well as adult men’s, women’s, and co-ed divisions. Kick It 3v3 Soccer also allows flexibility for registration, enabling both full teams and individual players to participate. This structure is intended to make the event accessible to a wide range of participants, from competitive athletes seeking additional game opportunities to recreational players and families looking for a community soccer experience.
Participants in the Swansboro event will compete for medals and sportsmanship awards while taking part in a style of play that encourages quicker decision-making, frequent ball touches, and constant engagement throughout matches. The small-sided format has long been recognized for helping players develop technical skills while creating an energetic and enjoyable tournament environment.
Importantly, teams competing in Swansboro will have the opportunity to earn points toward qualification for the Kick It 3v3 National Championships in Vail, Colorado, scheduled for July 24 through July 26, 2026. The championship event serves as a national pathway for teams competing throughout the World Tour season and connects local tournament participation in North Carolina to a larger competitive stage.
“Our goal is to give players more opportunities to compete locally while being part of something bigger,” Stratford added. “North Carolina is an important market for us, and we’re focused on growing here with the right partners and a consistent event schedule.”
The Swansboro event reflects Kick It 3v3 Soccer’s broader national strategy to expand through regional clusters of tournaments, creating stronger community relationships and increasing accessibility for players in key soccer markets. As the organization continues to grow, North Carolina remains an important focus for long-term development and regional engagement.
Registration for the Swansboro event is currently open through the Kick It 3v3 Soccer website. Additional event details, registration information, and tournament updates are available online.
